About the Role:

Observability Platform derives intelligent alerts out of the Logs and Metrics. It is composed of multiple areas and domains - Apache Druid, Logging Platform. This is a unique domain which consists of a distributed system, application layer and platform layer. This domain helps establish Observability as a key pillar for Confluent’s long term success and a reason for customers to buy Confluent over competition!

What You Will Do:

• Build mission-critical backend services that deliver value to our customers. You will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, developing and operationalizing high performance, scalable, reliable and resilient services
• No need to edit font name or size anymore!
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues inside a deep and complex technical stack that includes microservices, containers, and virtualization
• Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the availability and performance SLA commitments to our customers
• Conceive innovative new solutions for our customers, at the intersection of multiple fields: stream processing, Big Data and analytics.

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum of 1+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in enterprise-scale software development.!
• Experience running production services in the cloud
• Experience fixing scalability and reliability issues at Cloud scale
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience. An advanced degree in computer science is preferred.
